I had a lingering backache all my life, despite trying  different forms of sports.  (running, cycling , martial art) Exercise could get over the backache but the moment I stop exercising, it reoccurs. Doctors prescribed me pain killer and muscle relaxant which was good but short lived. The last thing I tried was Yoga and the more I practice, the better was my condition. It was amazing to discover that with proper  body-mind workout, it can work to your advantage.

We hope, you too, can discover within yourself how to improve your health condition. Yoga can be an alternative method to balance your body.  In 2012, there were 250 medical studies in the US National Library of Medicine’s bibliographic database (click here) to prove Yoga works on specific illness. One should also know that Yoga improves the health and well being of a person and it exist as a prevention rather than a ‘medicine’ to heal the body. Nevertheless yoga has been used as a therapy to maintain and improve the lives of mankind for thousand of years.

We teach yoga for weight loss, reduce backache, stress reduction and common issues that affect our daily lives. We also provide pressure therapy for problems related to migraine/neck/shoulders/back/knees/ankles/menstruation pain. We offer you the journey towards better health regardless of age, gender and fitness level. It needs to be experienced that words cannot describe. The result speaks for itself.

Our teachers:

  1. Francis Quek – Part time teacher at True Yoga teaching various forms of yoga. He is certified by True Yoga in Classical Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Recently completed training on Yin Yoga, traditional chinese medicine and anatomy with Jo Phee. True Yoga. Other training includes workshop with Kino Yoga, Noah Maze/Christina Sells Anusara Yoga, Synergy Yoga, Paul Grilley Yin Yoga.
  2. Yuki Chong – Part time teacher. She teach with passion, grace and pose. She is certified by True Yoga in Classical Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.  She trains in advanced poses and is willing to share her knowledge with others.
  3. Claudine Yong – Full time teacher. She teach Kids Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Yoga for elderly. She possess a Diploma in Yoga Education, Yoga Vidya Gurukul. She has completed teachers training in Ashtanga yoga from Trisula Yoga, Chuck Miller Ashtanga yoga and recently in Yin Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, anatomy with Jo Phee, True Yoga.
  4. John Peh – Part time teacher in various form of yoga.  He possess a Diploma in Yogic Studies, Yoga Vidya Gurukul, India. Completed teacher’s training on Yin Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Anatomy with Jo Phee, True Yoga. Training from workshops with Kino Yoga, Noah Maze/Christina Sells Anusara Yoga, Bryan Kest Power Yoga, Synergy Yoga, Paul Grilley Yin Yoga, Laura Evangelisti  Yantra Yoga, Sianna Sherman Anusara, Yoga Therapeutic Massage, Reiki, Tae Kwon Do (black belt) and Military Unarmed Combat. (black belt). Earned a certificate with distinction on Nutrition and Physical Activity for Health, University of Pittsburg.
